Honestly people, when this is your view on the walk to work, all complaints need to be shelved.
Onestamente quando quest’e’ il panorama durante la passeggiata per arrivare a lavoro, lamentarsi che sia lunedi’ e’ del tutto inaccettabile.

Have you moved closer in or is this after i mezzi from l’EUR? Because perspective factors in big time, even for me, even from here, especially in the end of summer double whammy of heat AND crush….
When I had my too brief time living in Rome, walking to work was past the Forum, over the Capitoline Hill through the Campidoglio, through the old Jewish Ghetto to end up at work by the Pantheon – with your group, Shelley. This walk brought tears to my eyes on a near daily basis. If sacrificing a limb would bring it back, I’d probably agree to it.
Sempliciamente favoloso! When I lived in Florence my daily walk or bike ride to school was crossing over the Ponte Vecchio, then down the most fashionable streets, and past the basilica di Santa Croce. Era un tempo splendido!
so true!
