Deep Thoughts

2 Aug

By Jack Handey. Does anyone out there remember that from SNL? OMG, I used to love those things, people. I was in 8th grade. I am sure it’s the ex-copywriter in me.

Well today isn’t exactly Jack Handey material, and in fact, it’s just simply nice.

That’s right.

I’m not going to make any snide remarks or sarcastic comments.

At heart, I’m sentimental and I like a good daily affirmation as much as the next person. Maybe even more than the next person.

So, this row of motorini? Ordinary, right?

Ma invece…

All of life comes to me with

EASE & JOY & GLORY

Ah, now isn’t that nice? Seriously.

Ok, please, just one little comment, will you allow me? Thank you… here it is:

Who couldn’t use a bumper sticker like that, facing the driver, when in the Roman traffic?

Love it.

And oh, PS: What street do you think I found it on? Via della Luce. The heavens are conspiring.

I LOVE the deep thoughts with Jack Handley. I have one of the coffee table books – hilarious.

Yep, remember them well! Yours is a great one! I sure think I could have used it when trying to find my way around on our trip to Rome- the roads are not signed very well 😉
