Italian Cinema Beats Hollywood Any Day

28 Mar

You can’t argue with a new release like this:

2012-03-24 15.50.04

The tender coming-of-age story of a young man, his parents, and his blossoming career as a porn star.

Altogether now: AWWWWWW….

Touching.

Literally.

PS Asking myself whether or not this is how Nick Hornby envisioned the big screen version of his book. You know, I’m sure that Luciana Littizzetto and her fingernails-on-chalkboard voice and mannerisms were exactly what he had in mind when he was penning it. God help us all.

I agree with what you said about Littizzetto!

Ugh she gets so on my nerves. I don’t even find her the least bit funny or charming. She just aggravates me.

We were in Italy for 3 weeks in March. We saw the ad for this movie repeatedly and were intrigued. Apparently we shouldn’t be…?
