Electronic Cigarettes in Rome

1 Aug

You knew it was only a matter of time, right?

Remember my post from not too long ago about the e-cig trend sweeping across this great nation of ours?

Well. Signage is coming along right behind it, as well as a new verb for me: “vaping.”

Do you think that Italian language students will now be learning how to conjugate the verb “svapare”?

Happy vaping! Your vaping is welcome here!

‘Vaping,’ OMG that’s even better than ‘footing.’

Ah ah ah, I prefer “Svampo”, like «Ha svampato signò!» («it’s burned Ma’am!» do you know Arnel by Marco Mazzocca?)
Vaping… maybe they mean “Steam” (vapore), so Steaming. And “Vaporizzazione”, in Italian language.
But (you know) Italians work so hard to destroy their language. And others, sometimes…

LOL! Vaping! Hilarious! There are so many people here in my town ‘vaping’ away. Who really knows what’s inside those e-cigs anyway?

Vaping is big here in Utah…but you can’t do it in places that you are not allowed to smoke.

Read about the ‘vaping’ room full of bongs getting raided in Connecticut a few months ago.

They are now saying on planes, ‘No smoking in the lavoratories – including electronic cigarettes’ – after all, it’s still smoke.
I was shocked at Rome’s EATALY, with all the nice food put out by a woman puffing away right in front of me…
